HOW TO USE HYSEAL

The first stage of any Hyseal application is to properly assess the requirements of a specific project.
This will determine the method of application – admixture, slurry, render, water plug or gunite.
Consult your local Hyseal Technical Department for assistance or further information.

For new structures and many simple remedial works, competent contractors
and maintenance departments will be capable of carrying out the works.

For major remedial works and where full, long-term effect is at a premium,
it is highly recommended to use the services of a Hyseal Approved Applicator.

Basic instruction data on how to use Hyseal in the various application methods
is available in the Technical Data section of this website.

It is essential to ensure surfaces are fit to receive Hyseal and that the material is mixed and applied in accordance with our recommendations and that the applied treatment is thoroughly cured. The effectiveness of Hyseal will be reduced if applied to poor quality concrete. A minimum cement content is essential for the free-lime crystalline reaction to develop.

If there is water leakage under pressure in a specific area then the use of Hyseal and Hyseal Hardener is necessary. For full application details refer to the Technical section (link to section) of this website or contact your local Hyseal representative.
